J. Geophys. Res., 97(D15), Oct. 30, 1992 (Amer. Geophys.
Union, 2000 Florida Ave. NW, Washington DC 20009), contains 24 papers on the
Arctic Boundary Layer Experiment (ABLE 3A) of July-August 1988. Measurements
from the ground, aircraft and satellites were used to investigate the magnitude
and variability of methane emissions from the tundra ecosystem, and to elucidate
factors controlling ozone production and destruction in the Arctic troposphere.
A summary paper by R.C. Harriss (Inst. Study Earth, Oceans & Space, Univ.
